Babysitting Course

Huron-Kinloss Community Services is hosting a St. John Ambulance Babysitting Course on Monday, December 22.This course is for recommended for ages 11-13 years old, focusing on childcare and provides basic first aid and CPR techniques.

  • Ripley-Huron Community Centre
  • Cost - $85

Participants must be 11 years old the day of the course. Please bring a lunch, pen/pencil and doll or stuffed animal to practice diapering and bottle feeding.

Sponsored Public Skating

Dust off those skates and come on out to the Ripley-Huron Community Centre for fun, exercise and public skating! Thank you to all our local businesses and community organizations for your support and sponsoring public skating at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.

Our Sponsored Public Skating is held Saturday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm, PA Days from 1:00-2:00pm and over the Christmas and March Breaks from 1:00-2:00pm.

Parent & Tot/Senior Skates return this winter to the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.

  • Monday to Friday starting October 6 2025
  • 9:00am to 10:00am
  • Ripley-Huron Community Centre
  • No Charge

Please note - This program is for Seniors, Adults & Tots under 5 years of age.

Hockey sticks and pucks are not permitted on the ice during this program.

Lucknow Summer Sports 

Lucknow Minor Sports is organized, coordinated, and administrated by the Lucknow & District Recreation Department. Early Bird Registration starts in January and runs until mid-March.  

Lucknow Minor Baseball teams travel to nearby towns to compete in the Tri-County Minor Softball Association. Other teams in the Association include Wingham, Belgrave, Brussels, Ethel, Benmiller, Seaforth, Londesborough, Zurich, Howick, and Fullarton. Lucknow Minor Soccer teams travel to nearby towns to compete in the Saugeen Mixed and North Huron Soccer Leagues.

Ripley Summer Sports

Looking for Ripley Minor Soccer or Ripley Minor Baseball information? Please visit our Ripley Summer Sports page

Ripley Minor Baseball plays in the WOBA baseball league and offers teams in T-Ball, Rookie, Mosquito, Peewee and Bantam ball. Ripley Minor Soccer hosts Blastball and U6 through U15 soccer teams and play on the Park Street Soccer Fields with some travel to Kincardine.
